WTP Reg. is recognizing education programs worldwide and is approving standards from highly qualified organizations and associations.
In the tennis world of today it is very difficult to see if a coach is highly skilled and what value his/her diploma or certificate really has. It is more or less impossible to know if oral CV:s or backgrounds are real and documented or just phantasy. Worldwide one can find highly recommendable organizations issuing certificates which are recognized and approved by the PTCA
WTP Reg. is evaluating course work, alternative knowledge, life experiences, playing ability and results as a part of a professional path to a full coach or therapeutical certification.
Most of the coach organizations has their own view of developing things and are evaluating and certifying their members differently and especially after years as members. WTP Reg. therefore mainly looking at the skills achieved, education, teaching experience and life experience evaluation which means that a customer, partner or employer can be sure of what the coach skills really are.
All our registries are members of worldwide recognized organizations or associations. It is a primary standard that everybody has to fulfill. WTP Reg. is a support to other organizations.
We are claiming to be the only neutral and objective registry for tennis professionals. A WTP Reg. – registration is requiring a primary membership in a recognized existing organizations (like USPTA, USTA, PTR, VDT, SPTA, EGASP or RPT as example). The primary membership especially highlights the treasured individuality and diversity at the tennis market but still put demands and standards to the tennis profession.
WTP Reg. is not an Assocation and will not claim to act like one. We are nevertheless supportive to associations and is striving towards cooperations between different professions.
WTP Reg. is especially supporting coaches worldwide to connect to he most succesful and experienced coaches of the world. WTP Reg. Also assist PTCA coaches (which all coaches with a certain standard can join) to build a pension fund, which is a big issue in the tennis coach profession. WTP Reg. is also welcoming medical tennis professional physiotherapists, doctors, and fitness coaches in its function as a tennis professionals interlink. WTP Reg. – Coaches has at least 3400 ours of education, are at least 21 years old and are updating their skills in re-certification seminars every year.
